I bought my P6 from my brother in law sometime after 2001 as that is when I joined here. I really liked the feel and fit of the P6 and shot it quite a bit.

I had the barrel modified to shoot HP's and sent it to Sig to have the mainspring replaced. I think someone here on the forum was working on the barrels.

A month or so ago, he asked if he could buy it back. I am getting older and have been selling things. He offered me a hundred more than I paid him if my memory is correct. He said he had magazines and only asked for 1 with the gun.

I had 9 P6/225 magazines left and I sold them quickly and they brought more than the gun.

I still have a 229, 228, and my 365. Those are all taken care of in my will.

That is candor! And good discernment. I know what it is like to lighten the load. And that P6 won't let him down.

Back when they were first imported. I had bought 2, both very nice conditions. I foolishly sold one thinking I still had the other. But.my wife really liked it , and now I have none

She didn't like my other Sig, P226 NSW.

I was able to get an unissued 1995 P6 from Deans guns. It fits my hand better than any other pistol.
