Has anyone tried the Meprolight FT Bullseye sight?

Fast to acquire on draw?

All lighting conditions OK?

Work on longer shots?

Bad eyes friendly?

Gimmick?

Viable, all purpose sight?

I have not but in talking to folks who have and reading about it I get the impression it is fast to acquire, fast to get rounds on target but only really MOA (minute of asshole) in precision. I sort of get an XS big dot vibe.

Now others may chime in with actual use experience but it seems to not be great at close range and fast but not so great out of that envelope.

I read a lot too but I trust Sigforumites more than some random statements.

Thanks for the response.

Talked to Mickey Fowler today and he hasn't tried them yet but was equally intrigued as I.

He uses RMRs for carry pistols but he says those systems, after years of experience, have their limitations.

New gear with innovation perks my interest.

I saw soggy spinout's first impression before any range time.

But, no range time review.

Anyone have any range time with em?

We’re gun people. We still argue about which 100+ year old caliber is better. Smile. We are slow to adopt. Wink

I would imagine somebody will pick up a 365 SAS sooner or later.

.

I bought one that is currently in the hands of the US Post Office. I expect it will arrive in a few days.

My plan is to mount it on the original P320 Compact Slide that I replaced with a P320 RX slide. I will be removing the front sight to avoid that distraction.

Tubetone and anyone else in the SoCal area is welcomed to contact me if they would like to meet up at a range to try out it for themselves.

Thanks for the offer but I moved to Hawaii so it's a bit far now.

I'd be interested in reading anything you might post about your experience.

Thanks to everyone who contributed here.
