| I really liked the setup too. There's a "false reset" in the trigger, though. The sample of one I got to paw had it, but it was pretty light, and I'm not a bit sure it wouldn't have smoothed right out with use and time. Still, when you're asking five and a half for a compact sidearm, those kind of bugs should have been already worked out. Other than that, I really liked it. Give me night sights and an extended mag, and I'm in.

If that's really what you want, I'd recommend keeping an eye out for a used/NOS CZ RAMI. If you want something new (and polymer), the HKs--P30sk & P2000sk--are really the best (only remaining?) options out there. |

my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, saves lives
| I have one. It's been my off duty for about 3 years. The false reset thing is overblown as an issue. Once you shoot about 500 rounds you don't even think about it. It is light, small, reliable and reasonably accurate. I would recommend it unless you want night sights. I don't know of any that are available. The only really odd thing is that loaded magazines don't drop free, but empty ones do. Also, if you are right handed and Carry iwb, you will want to sand the magazine release on the left side, the mag botton stippling is super sharp and will tear up your skin pretty good over the course of the day. I also sanded the inside grip panel a touch so it would ride better.

| I had a CSX. Mine had the false reset that has often been reported. It was a nice gun, but when it comes down to it, I'm not crazy about about SAO cocked & locked. Same reason I got rid of my P938 after I got my P365.
I had a RAMI. A RAMI is much bigger than a CSX. So are the HK SK models. |

| I had one. Total reliability, accurate, And the trigger was single action so the whole reset issue was not one for me. I had a major problem with the slide cutting the web of my hand. Because the grip was short, with a high tight hold the slide would hit my hand. I really liked the pistol but shoot one or at least hold it before you buy. If you like to tuck the grip tight into your hand web and you have medium to large hands you should be able to see if it will be an issue for you. |

| I've recently shot one when I was considering what rewards gun I wanted from S&W through their pro-deal program for dealers. Other than bringing a S&W logo to the game it didn't do anything notably different to the party than any of the other micro SAOs do. Recoil is unsurprisingly sharp for a metal pistol of its size, similar to how the P938 and Kimber Micro9 are for me. The fake reset is an immediate turn-off for this owner of many, many pistols that get shot regularly and DON'T exhibit this annoying trait. Sure you can likely train yourself to overlook this fault, but I wouldn't recommend owning any other micro 9 to potentially complicate matters. After 100 rounds of 124gr ball I was pretty much done with its snappiness; by this time that annoying, sensitive little nerve in my shooting elbow was complaining quite loudly. I easily image 124gr +P would be worse, but I wasn't going to be the one to try it at that point. Accuracy for me was reasonably good at 7 yards, but as my elbow began to get pissed at me my groups did start to open up some. Probably not a surprise, but the CSX ultimately was judged to be a no-go to me.

| The false reset is overblown. The trigger on mine improved after 200 rounds. It fits in most of p365 holsters. The biggest challenge for me was the mag sleeve sliding off the 12rd mag. Fixed it and it’s no longer an issue. As for the sights, The CSX will accept any M&P front sight. The rear is proprietary.

The Sig 365 is an ideal size, but striker fired hammerless are a second choice for me. I sometimes carry a Commander size SW 45 Commander size LT WT 1911 and consider it ideal but the size and capacity of the 365 is appealing. Just wish there were a sa/da clone. The CSX in sa looks like as close as I can get. Gonna have to look at one again.
I might add that I carry the 1911in an IWB leather holster with a snap strap that lays across and blocks the firing pin which gives me peace of mind. I would want the same in a another external hammer sa pistol. That sort of holster may not yet be available for the CSX yet.
I'm looking for that type of holster. Can you tell me who the manufacturer is? |

| I have the CSX E-Series, and it is indeed a very compelling carry gun. It’s really three guns in one, based on capacity. 12, 15, or 17 rounds are your choices, in a very tidy and compact package.
New trigger is pretty good.
A lot of rounds in a small package makes for a very nice warm weather carry gun. It is slotted between my .327 Fed Mag LCR and the 10mm 1911 in my carry rotation.
Side note: it fits in a holster made for a P365 like a glove. |

Do you carry it cocked and locked? I was wondering how positive the safety is?

| Yes, I carry it as God and John Moses Browning intended 1911-style pistols to be carried. The safety is as solid as any other 1911, with an audible and tactile detent/click. |

| If you don't mind a cocked and locked 1911 in your pocket. lol
I don't mean that sarcastically regardless of how it sounds but I think it is nuts to pocket carry a gun of that nature. Plus it certainly is bigger and heavier than I would pocket carry. |

Yes - In warm weather-type short pants with decent pockets, in a holster that covers the trigger guard. 12 rounds of 147-grain ammo can get a little heavy, however. Otherwise, it goes on the belt in a P365 holster I have, with the 15 or 17 round magazine in it. |
