Does anyone know how well the EAA Witness pistols in 10mm hold up long term? I saw a beautiful two tone today and it seemed like a very nice pistol.

I have three of them chambered for the 10MM Auto at the moment A Elite Match. Unfortunately I got this one just after they switched away from the Super Site. But these are a great value, reliable and accurate I also have an Elite Limited. I really like the way this one looks and shoots. It probably has more 10MM Auto ammunition down it's pipe than the other two combined. And I have one of the Witness Hunters. I got it because I figure the 10MM Auto cartridge can take good advantage of an extra inch of barrel I am not one of those people that keeps spreadsheets on every round they shoot so I have no clue what how much ammo I have fired through each of them. But I have been shooting EAA Witness pistols since the 1990s and have never had any complaints about how they hold up. Of the three 10MM Auto pistols pictured, the Elite Match is the oldest at 10-12 years. The limited is the youngest at 8-9 years old. I will probably add a Elite Stock II to my stable of 10MM Auto pistols sometime in 2020 ------------------------------------------------------------------ NRA Benefactor . . . Thanks for the quick response! What a great collection you have. The one I saw was like the top photo. A very nice looking two tone. Nicely blued slide and the frame looked to be hard chrome. It was on consignment and they wanted something like $875. I have one of the first generation Delta Elites and a G20. I was thinking the Witness might be a good addition.

That was probably the Elite Match. It is a SAO pistol with a very good trigger The frame is done in a hard chrome style finish, EAA calls it WonderFinish There have been two different rear sights used. Originally it had the Super Sight like on my other two EAA pistols, then it switched to this other style. Originally the frame had no equipment rails, the current production ones have added the equipment rails. Not knowing where you live it is kind of hard to comment on price . . . . Here in Florida, that is not a great price for a used Elite Match. These can be bought, brand new, off of Gunbroker (and at many local gun shows) for only about $100 more. So unless it is stocked up with extra magazines and ammo and holster, etc. I would try and negotiate a better price We have other Fellow Forum members that shoot the EAA Witneses chambered for the 10MM Auto cartridge. I am certain that they will chime in ------------------------------------------------------------------ NRA Benefactor . . . Certified Instructor . . . For those of you owners of the Witness 10MM, would you consider them to be well built, quality pistols? I think they look really nice but have been refraining from getting one because I've been hopeful for a very long time that CZ will finally offer their Model 97 for the 10MM chambering. After hounding them with email wishlists every year, they keep responding that one is not going to happen. I could live with a Witness though, if the durability is up to snuff. Unfortunately, I've never had the opportunity to handle one. Please share your thoughts/experiences with the Witness.

ABSOLUTELY these are well built, quality pistols The EAA Witness family of pistols has been chambered for the 10MM Auto cartridge for decades. If there were some kind of design based weakness (even just a little one) I think we would have folks all over the internet telling us how awful this product is Are you outside of the US? I ask because I see these firearms all the time at the various GunShows. I can not imagine they are hard to find, except perhaps in California or New Jersey ------------------------------------------------------------------ NRA Benefactor . . . Certified Instructor . . . I've only have a few hundred rounds through mine and it's been great. Comfortable and easy to shoot. If you buy on line, looks like the low price is $844. I paid about that when I bought mine a couple years ago.

I’m still holding out hope Vltor will do the right thing and release the Bren Ten line. Especially the hard chromed Miami Vice model.

For my Stock III blue, genuine mags were easy to find. I had 3 more in the mail right away. Price was in the mid-30's if I recall correctly. First hit... (10mm 15rd $27) https://grabagun.com/mag-eaa-w...-ful-stl-pol-05.html
