Hi all just looking for some input on this model my local place got one in that looks new for 850 . Looks awesome but never had any Sig 1911s . Just wondering if it's a good deal and how they perform. It's the FDE with the green g10 grips .
Thanks in advance

850 is a reasonable price, if I were in the market for one I'd bite at that peice. I have one and enjoy it. The grip is pretty aggressive, which I like. For me it is only a range toy and not a carry piece. The trigger is Ok, not as smooth as a similar model Springfield 1911 I own. The coating has started to wear a little on the high spots.

I owned one years ago and they are really nice guns. I like the beaver tail, as for me, they offer a little bit of a higher grip option and give me a better grip fit. The price is not out of line in my opinion.

Thanks for your response I'm going to go check them out they seemed to have gotten the smaller carry size as well I guess the person had both models . Do you happen to know what years Sig made this model ?

While I don't have a date range, mine was 2011. They made 4 inch carry models and 5 inch, I've seen railed and without rails.

I saw one at Scottsdale Gun Club yesterday for $699. No idea on what all comes with it and I didn't fondle it. But at that price, you can't lose.
