I just picked up a used p220r engraved with "RAIDER OIF 07-09 ON SLIDE SIDE AND 1 RAIDER BRIGADE. SERIAL NUMBER G420 7xx bod unknown. no box or documents.

P230 = S114xxx, just picked up this pistol yesterday.
It's marked W. Germany and 9mm Kurz
It doesn't look like it was ever been carried and only has a few mags through it.
Can anyone tell me the year of manufacture and the big difference in this one and a P232

The date code are the 2 letters (at 90° to the other text) following "9 mm kurz". The P230/P232 differences are mostly cosmetic. There are quite a few threads on this subject ... search for posts that contain both P230 and P232.

Just bought NOS ( New old stock ) Sig P226 NAVY. SER# UU6570xx . Build date printed on box April 2010. Has Anchor on side, Has rail , all phosphate greenish controls and internals. Has 3 Italian 15 round phosphate mags. Also barrel IS chrome lined (Verified) . Printed on black plastic box is: E26R-9-NSWG. Has short external extractor, All USA made, Cal 9mm.

1984 SIG P226 (JE datecode) SER: U122 0** Tyson's Corner
Friend of mine lent it to me to value. It is ANIB, no use marks, looks like very few rounds through it, all original documentation and came with a NIB "On Duty" CRDC laser.

I did not see this one under the Sig 225/P6 section so here it is.
M648-10X AB date ie 2001 double serial number marked, slide and frame on right side. "Made in Germany" not W. Germany old style grips unmarked. Left side on slide marked SIG ARMS INC Exeter-NH Underside of front side has date letter stamp AB and two proof marks, right side of frame has one proof mark near serial number. Hope this helps.

Adding a P229R DAK in .357SIG
