I had my series 1 Kimber Ultra carry back at the range today and after a couple mags I noticed the extractor was not doing it's job.
I have probably put upwards of 5k and probably closer to 10k through this gun.
A lot of folks gripe about the MIM parts in Kimbers, but this one held up pretty good.
Ordered a Wilson extractor and should have it Friday.

I had one break on my .17 a while back. They sent me a new one free with no questions asked.

Great customer service. You can also call them and they can look up when your 1911 was made.
