archermanSIG P229 Holster ???
I have found a holster I would like to try for my P229 Non-rail, but the holster is for one with a rail.
Will it still fit correctly or will it be loose?
It is a Gould & Goodrich, and if not what does the brain trust recommend?
Just a decent OWB for a P229, leather or Kydex.
Thanks,

copaupIt will most likely work. I know GALCO uses the same holster for 229, 229r, and 228 including DAK variants. If you move up to something a bit more tightly formed and molded it might make a difference. I’ve got a Lobo Gunlesther for my duty 229r DAK that has occasionally served as a temporary home for my non railed m11a1.
My recomendations ar Ryan Grizzle (top quality) or Lobo (excellent quality, faster turnaround)for leather or Off The Grid or Ozarks Holster Co for kydex.

CXXXFor a moderately priced option I like the DeSantis Speed Scabbard

cazioThe G&G should be fine, I have a versa max 2 for a railed 229 that fit my 228 just fine.

NitronizeHi everyone, 1st post.
Rather than start a new thread, I thought I would piggyback off of this one since a search did not reveal what I am looking for...
I am looking at a Blade-Tech Signature holster for my P229 Nitron .40 S&W with the rail and I am wondering if it will clear the button on a Lasermax guide rod install. If not, then what OWB style non-leather holster will clear the button preventing accidental activation while in the holster?
Thanks in advance!
