The cake is a lie! |
Factory plastic sights? You can use a punch, or you can invest in a MGW sight pusher https://www.midwayusa.com/prod...007109821?pid=884401

The factory rear sight is usually easy to move with a nylon punch and a small hammer. Soft taps. __________________________ We few... We happy few...

I have owned the MGW for Glock and have found out its not needed. I just use a nylon/deleron punch. Never had any that were tight like on a Sig p series. A metal or brass punch will also work just fine. I have the deleron punches and just find it easier and less worry of slipping and marking the slide.

I have the MGW for Glocks. Nothing works better for adjusting the rear sight, IMO.

The MGW tool is great, but here is a more budget friendly option that works surprisingly well. https://www.amazon.com/NcSTAR-...-Sight/dp/B01HU4NNDE

I strongly recommend the Wyoming Sight Drifter. I am yet to find a dovetailed sight that it will not move. I use a small piece of masking tape to avoid marring the sight and limiting the amount of brass transfer but otherwise it works great.
