I found the above listed gun in my local shop which is in pretty good condition, it’s the model with all stainless controls and the only marks I see are a few marks and scuff on the alloy frame, it has two mags with it but unfortunately they are the 10 round mags, the gun has the box and all the papers and appears to be an older gun, it is Made in the USA and not Italy, my question is do these older guns typically hold value better especially the ones with all stainless controls, I can get the gun for $550.00 OTD just not sure if that’s a good price, this would be my first 92.

I don't think that is a bad price for an all Inox Beretta. IIRC US made all Inox Berettas were made during the hi cap mag ban during the Clinton administration so the 10 round mags would be correct. It seems the all Inox models hold a slight premium over Inox with black controls.

Beretta 92's in white like that are alloy framed with a nickel colored finish called Inox. The slide is stainless, I believe. And Beretta is currently making Inox 92 models, but they cost significantly more that the one you are looking at. Berettaforum.net has a lot of info you may find useful. Under the FAQ's they have all modern Beretta pistols listed, with photos and production dates.

I would say that is a good price for the all Inox parts gun. The newer ones have black plastic controls, which don't look bad but the all metal ones look much nicer. The all Inox models command more, price wise and are usually sought after. The mags are of little consequence as Beretta full cap. mags are cheap, about $17.00,sometimes can be found for less. MecGar and ACT, have made mags for Beretta I believe in the past and either one is good to go. I have a bunch of both and they each hold up perfectly. If you are wanting to get an 92 all Inox model, I would go back and get that one for the price. I say that as I recently got a P226 MK25,Cali. version for $600.00 otd that came with the 10 round mags.

That was the first gun I bought back in 2003. I think that is a fair price in the condition you describe.

I’d grab it at that price as the older all stainless ones are going up in value over the last few years. I’ve seen some like new to new in box ones from the early to mid 90’s going for north of $1200 on the online auction sites. Personally, I found a pristine Italian made example from ‘94 a couple years back, for under $900, complete with stainless magazines. I forgot how beautiful these things are in person after I foolishly sold my old late 90’s US produced INOX years back.

That is a good price for an Inox gun. Even better when it has the stainless controls. I had one and wish I still had it.

Are the mags stainless with white followers? Is there the billboard on the side of the frame? What is the date code on the trigger guard. That info should help determine value. That said, $550 seems like a pretty good deal. Here is mine, 1992 no billboard but I am missing the inox mags. Still a beauty...

The mags are stainless but I’ll have to go back and look at the followers, it does have the billboard on the frame, sweet looking 92 you have there.

It also has a set of wood grips that have PB on the bottom of them and has one set of black plastic grips and one set of rubber grips.

That's a good price as you described. You don't see too many these days with the stainless controls.
Go back & get it!

Well I went and put it on layaway, the two stainless mags have black followers and I don’t see a date code on the gun, I have a couple of pics if someone is willing to post them for me

If the mags were the original types, they would have been worth quite a bit, ( I am sure it would have been a lot more than the $550). No matter, you still got a good deal and many here agree.
