Aftermarket Glock slides? Login/Join

I own and have owned a number of aftermarket Glock slides. I only use OEM parts and barrels in all of them.

I have a Swenson G19 Gen3 Stainless Steel Melonite Slide without optic cut. I haven't used it much, but I haven't had any issues with it. It's what I would consider a lower budget option.

I owned a Brownells G19 Gen3 RMR Slide. I mounted and used an RMR on this slide. No issues with parts fitment or function. I sold it because I did have issues with fitment in some of my holsters. I wasn't fond of the slide's profile and beveled edges either.

I owned a Lone Wolf AlphaWolf G19 Gen3 RMR Slide as well. I like these slides a lot. I sold that gun but continue to use a G17 Gen3 that also has an AlphaWolf RMR Slide. I'm using a Holosun 407 optic on this. I've got thousands and thousands of rounds through the setup with absolutely no issues.

I just purchased a Taran Tactical G17 Gen3 Slide with Optic Cut. I also purchased their Match Grade Barrel. The machining and finishing is excellent. I assembled the slide with OEM parts and did not have any issues with parts fitment. However, I have not yet used this slide. This slide is definitely the nicest one of the bunch. TTI has some really good sales. Sign up for their email list if you're interested.

Again, I only use OEM parts to assemble the slide. I've had fitment issues with some of the aftermarket parts kits when assembling a number of slides for friends. These kits were not "performance parts" but standard parts not manufactured by Glock. I don't remember the brands though.

Hope this info helps.

I have one of these, but when I purchased mine it was $350.00 with the 4 adapter plates.

So now I am not sure it's worth it, you can just buy a complete Glock for that price.
