Not No. 2, but Model 2. Second version to be exact! So… a Model 2, 2nd? Lots of number 2s, anyway.



Introduced the .38 Smith and Wesson cartridge, as well as the Top Break design that carried them through until the swing out cylinder came around. SN looks like around early 1880s for this guy.
