SigSlapThin Wood Grips for P220
Thin Wood Grips for P220, and I did use the search function but wanted to see if anything was more recent.
I have the factory wood grips, and they pretty thick and slippery. The Hogue cocobolo look great, but don't know how thick they are.
I'd consider G10 grips, if they could match a reddish wood texture as I don't really care for the colors I see being offered.
Opinions on both would be great too. Thank you!

12131Thin and wood don't belong in the same sentence, when it comes to grips.

dking271The thinnest wood grips I have found have been KN Nills. They are very high quality, but you pay for it.

DanHFor G10, you might try Lok Grips. They're made per order and also lets you pick your color. As far as wood grips for P22X guns, you aren't going to me very happy with the selection compared to 1911 grips.

cslingerI don't know if VZ does the P220 or if they will do custom grips but I have these on an old Smith 17 that do have a woodish look to them. In person they have a little more reddish tint to them then the picture shows.

KevHNills or Roco grips
Nothing else comes close.

SigSlapThank you for the responses.
None of the wood grips will work for me due to colors, checkering, etc. I am sure they can be sanded and stained, but at that point I might as well do the same to my current Sig grips or mess with the Hogues--which at least have aggressive checkering in the upper portion of the grip.
Also, VZ does not make G10 grips for the Sig 220, and I don't see any on LOKs website.
Honestly, quite surprised for the lack of aftermarket since I always felt the Sig 220 to be second only to the 1911s as far as an iconic .45 goes.

stiabThese are very thin, and do not add girth that I can tell. Believe they are Nills, someone on this forum years ago posted a link to these Euro versions on sale, and I got a set. Sorry this old pic does not give a good view of the grips, they have very nice grain and fine cut checkering.

You can see my opinions on feel and thickness of the Hogues here if you like.
https://youtu.be/qvbfsmGQ12g?si=djFWTJz_9CjZEqt-Short answer is I was actually in search of thicker grips than factory plastic. The Hogues feel roughly the same side to side but have a different/reduced curve at the bottom of the butt at the rear. And better checkering.
