usncorpsmanAdded 6” to my collection and loving it.
I picked up this jewel yesterday from a good friend and went immediately to the range with it. She is a pussycat to shoot compared to other 10mm guns I have shot. There were no issues and accuracy was outstanding. The gun gobbled up everything including my reloads.
I had one when they were first released but someone wanted to pay me $500 more than I paid to have it “NOW”, so she went to a new home shortly after I got her. This one will ride on my hip during my hog hunts and I hope to get a hog with it later this year.

P250UA5Was expecting a revolver thread, not at all what I was expecting when I clicked the link.

monoblokCongrats on the G40. I've been hemming and hawing about picking one up myself but my G20 has been so dependable and flawless that The Big 10 is hard to justify. Plus I normally carry in a Kenai chest rig where the length of the G20 is just about the max for decent draw speed given my body size and arm length. Tack on another 1 1/2" of length to the gun...maybe not so great as that cougar moving ever closer is eyeing its next meal.

DoctorSoloThat's really cool.
I wish they still made the G17L.

Killer InstinctsAwesome piece. I've had one just like it for several years now, and I also find it to be soft-shooting and dead reliable.
With some of the hotter ammo available these days, it's legal for big game in many states. I very much want to kill an elk with the G40.

RileyI have one but I’ve yet to put a dot on it.
It’s almost comical how big it is. I find the 180gr American Eagle loads to be very light and easy to shoot and the Sig to be a heavier recoiling load, but still easy to shoot.
I gave away all my 10mm brass because I couldn’t find large pistol primers in quantity at a price I wanted to pay. I do have a lot of Sig ammo so I’m set for a bit, but I’d like to load for it and shoot a USPSA or outlaw match with it one time.
Do not send me to a heaven where there are no dogs.
