Seems the economy is really starting to show weaknesses as I'm picking up nice stuff for bargain basement prices. I scored this pristine pistola for three hundred bux! It's one I didn't have yet in the line of the transition guns. They have gotten expensive new now. Closing in on $700. The instant it his my local trader, I bought it. This is the frame they used to make The Man With No Name revolver in the Spaghetti westerns. It gives you a loading gate and modern cartridges to fire blanks and they fitted an 1851 cap and ball barrel onto it. The one I need now is a Thuer conversion. ____________________________ Eeewwww, don't touch it! Here, poke at it with this stick.

Oh, that's nice. I just missed out on a similar one a few months ago. His was priced at $350 and I was about 10 minutes too late on it.This message has been edited. Last edited by: sigarms229, Sometimes, you gotta roll the hard six

I swapped the barrels with my MWNN revolver and they were an exact exchange. Very clever on Uberti's part. The Uberti is a .357 barrel and the movie prop was a .375. but it merely fired blanks. I discovered that on color case hardening, that if the color wears off, you can just wipe some super blue cold blue over it and it comes right back. I have a love affair with these type of revolvers. I love my actual Colt Model P's, but these type hold a special place because their clever engineering. ____________________________ Eeewwww, don't touch it! Here, poke at it with this stick.
