Strike Industries Sig 365 grip module question

apf383Strike Industries Sig 365 grip module question
I’m thinking about the Strike Industries 365 Grip Module for my new standard, 10 shot, P365. The Strike Industries website says:
“ Please note that with the Strike P365 Enhanced Grip Module, this is most similar to the size of a Sig P365 X Grip - meaning that ours can take the P365 X/XL 10, 12, 15, AND the 17rd magazines.”
Will my standard 10 round mags fit in this module? It looks like the X/XL mags have longer baseplates. Can I get them on my mags if needed, to use this grip module? Seems most of these after market grip modules wont work with the mags I have. Thanks all, sorry so wordy.

ChowserNo, your standard 10 rd mags for the P365 will not fit unless you buy extensions. They're talking about the neutured 10rd (12rd sized) mags for restricted states.
The X grip is the standard 12rd mag size.

apf383Thanks Chowser. That’s what I figured looking at the mag differences on the Sig website. I wonder if the extensions are worth buying, or even available, to make this module work. I guess with extensions I could also use other modules as well.

The extensions work and they're not too expensive. Tactical Development makes one, and there's at least one other company whose name escapes me. IIRC, they run about $15.

dry-flyI have the Strike Ind. grip module on my P365 that I built up from a bare FCU. I like it a lot, as much as I do the Wilson C. modules. You’ll be happy with it. I’d post a pic but am unable to at the moment

apf383Dry-fly, did you have to add the mag base plates to lengthen the mag for use in the grip module? I wonder what adding that inch or so will do for ccw printing? I think I’m going to give it a try. Thanks.

You're welcome. Here are some others -- not sure who makes these:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/335471973333EDIT TO ADD: Just looked in my range bag, and I have a couple of those eBay ones too, along with the ones I bought from Tactical Development. I still don't know who makes them, but they're working fine.

apf383Thanks tiovio, I saw a few on ebay, pricing all over as expected. Looks like a few are even 3d printed.
Thanks for the pics dry-fly. Very helpful and a really nicely done pistol.

Happy to help! BTW, I highly recommend the MagGuts kit for the magazines.

apf383dry-fly, do you use an iwb holster? If so which one? I understand sometimes these grip modules require a little more room. Thanks.

I do not carry IWB, never warmed up to it.

apf383Colbucky, will that grip module let the gun fit in the standard Sig 365 fitted holster?
