Has anyone had their floor plates fail on as issued 12 rd mags?
I'm not looking for problems here, if it works, it works.
There just seems to be a ton of pressure for a plastic floor plate to contain.
I like the flush mag and have no desire to add length or capacity. I just want to avoid having a fully loaded mag blow out and dump 12 rounds on the ground.

Check out Empire products.
They have a low profile. aluminum base plate for the 365 12rounders.
I put their katana mag well on my wilson frame and the stock mag needed just a little more length.
Solid parts, but pricey

I don’t think it has been a problem. Hell I bought magguts that added two rounds to both the 10 and 12 rounders. They use the magguts baseplate though. Respectfully I think you are looking for a problem that doesn’t exist.

Your answer was what I was hoping to hear.
There is a lot of pressure on that floor plate when the mag is fully loaded. Floorplate failure is not unheard of (in some other guns). The quality/strength of plastic has improved more than my ability to accept it.
I confess to being a metal (usually steel) frame gun guy.
