ruger357Can a P232 be converted to DAO (or DAK)
I’ve picked up a couple of these over The last couple of weeks and wouldn’t mind swapping one over to DAO if possible. Did they ever come from the factory In anything other than DA/SA?

12131Since the P232 DAO exists, the answer is yes. But, finding parts for conversion is another matter.

BroadsideI've corresponded with Matrix Precision about making DAO hammers for P226's and P239's. He said if I could send him examples he could probably replicate them. I have examples. But I have not circled back with to try to arrange for him to do it. He only makes Sig hammers a few times a year.
It's possible, that with an example of a DA/SA P232 hammer and a DAO hammer from another P2XX series he might be able to make a DAO P232 hammer.
The only problem with this is that so few people want DAO Sigs. I don't know whether it would be worth his while to do this, especially for a pistol that is out of production.

YooperSigsAs a Sig Armorer, I can tell you my least favorite Sig to work on was the 230 / 232. YMMV.
