I took my new P365 & Glock 45 out for the first time.

P365 Impressions:
I've owned a Glock 26 and a Kel-tec PF-9 before but compared to them, the P365 is a surprisingly softer shooting gun. I used both the 10-round mag w/flush baseplate & 12-round extended mag and even though 12-round mag gives you more grip, I shot very well with the 10-round flush mag.

I'm still amazed that Sig was able to cram 10 rounds into the magazine and create a 10+1 sub compact that's smaller than the Glock 26.

I paid $510 from Sportsmans Warehouse, came with standard night sights & 2 10-round mags.

Glock 45 Impressions:
Compared to my Gen5 Glock 19, the G45 is more comfortable to grip, was softer shooting; it's now my favorite Glock! If I had a choice to carry my G19 or the G45, I definitely would pick the G45. Gotta start saving up for a Glock 17 now!

If you're looking to buy a Glock 19 or Glock 17, I'd highly recommend taking a look at the G45

I paid $487 using my GSSF coupon, came with Ameriglo night sights and 3 17-round mags.

Ammo
I shot a mix of 115gr FMJ, 147gr Golden Saber, Corbon Powerball, Speer 147gr +p Gold Dots; no issues with any of the ammo.

It's no surprise that the 365 is more pleasant to shoot than the PF-9. That is a particularly unpleasant pistol to shoot. The 365 is pretty soft shooting for its size though. It doesn't seem as snappy as a G43, it's more like shooting a Shield. Having ten rounds in a little pistol is pretty cool but Kel Tec got ten rounds into a pistol just slightly larger than the 365 over twenty years ago with the P11. I don't understand why it took other gun makers this long to do the same thing.

Yup, the P365 has been one impressive gun for me as well. And I too think that the G45 is one of the best pistols that Glock has ever created; I truly enjoy mine.

The Glock mullet guns (19X and 45) are the Glocks you didn't know you needed. A lot of people were miffed (probably still are) that they weren't the opposite (17 slide and 19 frame), but that short slide seems to track faster and the longer grip gives great leverage.

Of course it's what they 1911 Commander has been for decades and more recently things like the Sig carry models.

I just got a second 45, this one for optics.

How does the G45 do relative to concealability? Does the longer grip reduce that?

Same as sticking a G17 in your waistband.

Yup, P365 for the win.

It replaced all my other guns for CCW. Flat based 10 round magazine for pocket carry, and 12 round mag for OWB carry, 15 round mag on belt for both methods of carry.

G19 was my preferred CCW till I got the 365.

No experience with the p365 but I was happy to see you have positive things to say about the G45. I have a G19x waiting for me at my FFL.

My P365 went over 1k rounds today. It has not been cleaned and has not experienced a single malfunction since day 1. Ate all kinds of ammo I fed it. The perfect carry gun for me.
