How can I put a red dot (Romeo X compact) on my P239.

Failing to prepare is preparing to fail. |
Find someone to mill the slide. I do not know if you can, but I do not see why not. You can mill other P series guns. ________________________ "Don't mistake activity for achievement." John Wooden, "Wooden on Leadership"

Just because you can do something, doesn’t mean you should. But if you are hellbent on doing this, my recommendation would be to cruze ebay and GunBroker for a used P239 slide of appropriate caliber. I would test the slide on your frame for at least a 100 rounds before milling just to make sure there are no hiccups. Then send that slide off to have a red dot installed. This way under worst case scenario you are only out a slide and not an entire pistol if it doesn’t work out.

Contact Robert Burke. He has done this to a P239 357 slide.

I second this. I can also highly recommend Vulcan Machinewerks. I know Robert Burke would also highly recommend them for milling work. "Kachi wa saya no naka ni ari" ("Victory comes while the sword is still in the scabbard")
