I wish I could answer your question and have wondered myself as I bought a NIB, new consecutive set back when they were first offered. I was told they were an overrun from a Japanese contract probably a police force and not many were imported. I believe one could probably call Sig Exeter and get the answer as to the amount.

I'd love to have one, but they seem to be scarce and expensive.
