I bought a Shadow Systems MR920P and love this thing! I debated long and hard and while more expensive than a lot of plastic guns I am glad I gave it a try. Already have 9mm Glocks in 17,19 and 26 and this thing definitely outshines those and shoots flatter and is more accurate. Not really apples to apples comparing with the comp but it does work. I had two fail to ejects in the first mag but Shadow Systems says it needs a 200rd break in. After the first mag it has been flawless. Right now I have just over 500 rds through her and have not cleaned it intentionally because I want to see at what point it starts to have issues. If no issues by 1000rds I will clean and call it good enough for me! If anyone is on the fence about adding another plastic gun take a hard look at these. My 9mm Glocks don’t see the light of day anymore, they are not as fun. Oh yea, it takes Glock mags too.

Very nice. How much difference would you say the compensator makes?

Quite a bit it seems and the Surefire’s weight also helps which is the main reason I have it on the pistol. I think a good test would be to pull the Surefire and compare it to the g17 and 19. May do that for grins.

I'm thinking about comping a P320...I'd be interested to hear your results.

May run the test next weekend. You want me to check the g19 or 17 compared to a non light MR920P? The MR920P uses G17 holsters so I feel the 17 will be a better size comparison. Thoughts? I also have a light on the G17 so can do it using lights if you prefer.

I agree that the 17 makes more sense. A light would be great, as mine will eventually be wearing a TLR-1.

Nice pistol. I only have a MR920 foundation pistol but It is a very nice shooter. It doesn't have a comp, which I believe does make a difference, but nonetheless, I really like and it has eaten everything I have thrown at it without issue.

Good to hear. I just grabbed a Foundation MR920 (non compensated) that should arrive to my LGS this week. Ended up being less than a G19 MOS by about $100 ($50 with shipping and xfer included.

Comp may be next on the list if this one works like I hope it will.
