Who has a P320 RX? What are your thoughts? Are you happy with it? How has the Romeo sight stood up? Can you use another sight? (delta Point Pro) Thanks!

So far, I have been shooting two. A full size RX and a compact RX. Both have held up well. A couple of weeks ago, I started carrying the compact RX off duty. I've had zero issues so far. I see two or three in just about every class, and they chug through 600-1000 rounds in a two day course without issue. I hear people post horror stories that the Romeo "won't make it through a match" and then I compare it to what I see, and what guys that are running them hard are seeing. I wonder at that point if the "won't last through a match" crowd know how to use them, or if they are watching people who have no idea on how to use them.

I had an RX Compact. Shot it about 1K without problem with Fiocchi 124 ball. Which is NATO spec, so they say. It ran fine and no problem with the optic. I sold it because try as I might, I just could not adapt to the dot. I used the standard sights to aim and then focused on the dot. Which slowed me down. Minor whine: The plastic cover for the optic often fell off. End of Earth: 2 Miles Upper Peninsula: 4 Miles

I have a early model RX. The Romeo 1 developed an issue where the increase button would not respond, and the only way to very the dot brighter was to remove/ replace the battery. I called SIG, and they had no issue fixing it. It's been about 1300 rounds now, no issues. I shall respect you until you open your mouth, from that point on, you must earn it yourself.

I've had the opposite observational experience from jljones at our local matches. people jumped on them initially as the pricing was quite good compared to milling and an RMR. None of them lasted more than a few events without having to go back to sig. now that's a sample size of 4ish. and they were all purchased about the same time so take that for what it is. That was last year and you never know with SIG if there haven't been a zillion product updates since. But I have promised jljones to do my own endurance study when we discussed this in another thread and a 320RX and its RMR milled companion are just waiting for the winter weather to go away to see how the RX holds up at our local matches for me this spring. “So in war, the way is to avoid what is strong, and strike at what is weak.”

I was glad jjones chimed in. He has a lot more experience with the 320 than most around here it seems. Will any other sight fit on the RX slide?

Other sights won't fit on the RX slides at this time. Springer Precision has a lot of plates in the works to adapt, but right now their stuff is only for X5 and M17 conversions.

I love my 320RX. I've been using it for steel challenge for about 1.5 years now. It shoots great and I've never had an issue with gun or optic. I must say it feels much better with the X series grip module on it. Also, if you're going to use it for competition the Gray Guns competition trigger setup is a must. I've been using it for a while now. Trigger breaks consistently around 2 lbs 10 oz. and the straight trigger feels great to me. Go for it, you'll be happy you did.

Great shooter but I retired mine as I couldn't pick up the sight dot quick enough. It's me not the gun, older eyes and just so used to irons. I love the newer Xray fronts. Chris

I have the one with Romeo only and suppressor height front blade. This has no rear sight other than the channel and dots from Romeo. I like this because my eyes pick up the dot and front blade first, I have to consciously look for rear sight alignment. Small things make a difference with me - admittedly a real amateur. I find when I go back to iron sights on my other pistols the rear front alignment seems to be as quick and natural as before. Funny thing is I was conflicted on this version because of lack of rear sight...for me turned out to be a benefit. This message has been edited.
