Just mobilize it |
Launched my Smith & Wesson 5906 recoil guide rod while cleaning tonight and the spring came off and I’m not sure what orientation to put it back on the guide rod as it appears identical on both ends and slides on smoothly each way. Been a while since I’ve taken it down so I can’t remember if there’s a direction that’s preferred or if it’s reversible?

I think It's reversible I once launched a 3rd Gen guide rod. I looked, and looked for it. I could not find it. About 10 years later I found it just lying on the floor plain as day. It's one of the great mysteries of my life. _______________________________ Do the interns get Glocks?

Do---or do not. There is no try. |
I had a 6906 for several years. The recoil spring on that pistol is reversible.

Ok good I figured it had to be as I could not tell a difference on the ends.
