I saw the 365x this weekend and love the longer grip. Is the grip length of the standard 365 model with a 12rd magazine the same length and feel as the 365x?

No, the X has the extended beavertail of the XL and there's no gap between the frame and the mag so less movement. The X also has an optic cut from the factory.

With the 12-rounder (with the sleeve) inserted, the original P365 has the same grip length as the P365X. It's the same 12-rd mag for both guns, one using the sleeve and the other having no need for it. The feel might be slightly different, however.

I think you can get the p365 grip module, use on p365x, and then be able to have all the configurations with that slide length. 60$ last I checked, if you want pocket carry size and a longer grip for belt carry…

The p365 is probably most versatile in how many rounds you want to carry. But i agree that anything above 10 round in a 365 will feel not as secured as a 365x/xl with a 12 rounder flush.
