Increase Trigger Weight of P210A to 4 lbs.? Login/Join

Hello all,

I am thinking of getting into CMP Service Pistol shooting and I am considering using that as an excuse to pick up a P210 Target. I already know I'll have to swap out the grips (the forthcoming Hogue G10 grips should fit the bill nicely), but my biggest concern in the trigger pull weight. Service pistol rules require a 4 lb. minimum trigger, but I know that the P210 comes from the factory at least 1/2 pound below that.

Does anyone know how I would go about increasing the pull weight safely and reliably (and with the ability to revert back to factory weight)? I have not been able to find anything definitive online, and there don't seem to be many gunsmiths that work on the P210's either. Thanks!

I fired unchanged P210 Standard in CMP local match without any questions; it is on approved service pistol list. But I second Sig Armorer for custom work.
