It has been a while since I purchased a new Sig and I just ordered a P365 AXG Legion and also bought the Sig Romeo X Compact RDS for it.

Holster and mag carrier are ordered too, so once I get some range time this will be my new EDC. Thinking back, my last new Sig was a P938 when they were fairly new. I am overdue for a new Sig.

I keep hearing about Shawn Ryan talk about this gun as he gives them to the ex Operators he interviews on his show. The reviews online were good and I found one in stock so I guess I will find out myself how it does.

I sold one to a customer this weekend. Very nice piece. I was a bit envious, I’m sure you’ll enjoy it.

I hope you like the striker after having the single action hammer all this time. I sure don't. Let us know after you get familiar with it.

I'll post an update once I've put some rounds through it. In my younger years I was loading every week and shooting every week. As I've gotten older, I don't have as much time so range trips are limited. Retirement is in sight so hopefully I'll get more time to load and shoot.

I visited the SIG Experience Center/SIG Academy in Epping, NH recently and got to handle the P365-AXG Legion...Damn if that didn't feel better in my hand than ANYTHING I've handled in a very long time, if ever! Cool

$1199.99 though... Eek

Congrats on the new heater! Let us know how you like it...I want one, but some convincing might help me to realize I 'need' it. Wink

I absolutely love mine, it feels better than any pistol I have ever owned, and 17 rounds is amazing in a small pistol. after owning the x macro tac ops I didn't think it could get much better but it does. soon after buying it I sold all my Glocks.

I always tell my family about wants vs needs.
Pistols fall into the “needs” category but only if they fall below the $1200 threshold.
My wife has far more shoes and purses than I have pistols.

Oh, I’m pretty sure you will like it! We got one, and I was quite pleasantly surprised at how much I liked it! The size was perfect, grip was easy to hold, very lightweight, but recoil was negligible despite the light weight. I am contemplating getting another one when i had some extra cash.

Finally made it to the range to shoot. Very first shot I had a fail to eject/fail to feed. It functioned perfect after that. The red dot was pretty much right on.

Overall I think it is going to make a great carry gun, the trigger is ok and recoil is pretty good. The grip is great, even the extra roughed surface on the mag plates. The size is ideal for carry and I have 17 rounds. The only negative, those are the hardest mags to load out of any handgun I have ever had. Could not get them completely full - I suppose the may need some break in.

So the two bad things, the last three rounds are hard to load and using a mag loader is a necessity. I never use those mainly in order to keep my fingers strong. I do not want to have to depend on that if I ever need to load mags quickly.

Second, like 3 of 7 Project on Youtube (former SEAL), trying to charge the pistol with the mags full with 17 rounds is near impossible. The slide appears to drag across the top round. I had to load only 16 rounds, charge the pistol and then load the final rounds. Maybe it will get better with time but that is something I have never seen. I have some large hands and am still fairly storing, so it is not due to lack of hand strength.

My daughter has the 365Xmacro. She had the same issue with trying to seat the magazine when full. Really having to slam it home, and not able to rack the slide.

We found that loading the full magazine with the slide open was the best practice. Treat the gun as a 16+1. No issues since.

I shall respect you until you open your mouth, from that point on, you must earn it yourself.

Eliminate all problems, load 15 rounds. Surely that is enough.

When I got my X Macro, I started by loading all the mags with only 16 rounds using the supplied loader and letting them sit for a few days. After about 5 days it was much easier to load them to 17, by hand.

use a lulu loader for awhile it will get easier, for me I use them because it's faster and easier just put it on a hard surface.
