I’ve pretty much settled in on the FN509 Tactical and 509c Tactical for everyday carry. I have red dots on each. The mounting system was a key factor in considering them in the first place. And they just fit my hand great and the trigger pull has lightened up with use.

I still have my G26 that I’ll never sell and a P229 in 357Sig/40 that I have a boatload of ammo for. But they sit in the safe mostly nowadays.

I’ve noticed more than a few carrying the P365…I wish I could warm up to mine. I think I’m too much of a Glock / revolver guy…

Some folks are installing the P365 XL grip module, for the more-adult-sized grip, while having the snubbier barrel.

In my individual case, a P365 points quite low, while a P365 XL points level. Even the XL, however, is too short to reach the “heel bone” of my hand, so I will be unlikely to purchase one, unless I can find someone to build me a grip module with an extended “orthopedic” grip*. Boresight Solutions builds-out a Razorback modification, so perhaps it would be feasible to add some length, too.

*I have aged-out of shooting compact nines with my right hand.

I carry a P365 but it doesn't give me a warm fuzzy like my G43 did . I gave it to my son after he graduated the Academy . Sometimes I carry my S&W Mod 442 .

So just the gun in the pocket?? I would encourage the holster. Great EDC piece but I couldn't do it without the holster.

Do you shoot it well enough to be acceptably accurate and fast with it?

On the flip side, what Glock do you carry and do you have any problem concealing it? The idea of the P365 is maximum round count in minimum size. If that isn't an issue for you, why bother trying.

I shoot it fairly well - but low (4-6” at 7 yards). The bigger problem is the draw. I can shoot my 43X like my G19 and draw it way faster. My 43 is only a little slower but plenty acceptable.
