I'll definitely agree on the SSP, I sent an older West German P220 in a couple years ago that had been happily carried & shot for years. I'd asked a local gunsmith to replace the older spur hammer with a current one and he'd returned the pistol to me in pieces.

Sent it to SIG for the SSP, they replaced several internal components, identified a couple upgrades from wear & tear, returned it in much better condition then sent. Pretty cheap too.
