The electronic gizmo is just a dumb add on option. It doesn’t change the way I see the gun and I wouldn’t buy the gizmo for it.
It could be as good or better than the Alien. I’ll reserve judgement until I see one and, especially, shoot one.
I was just throwing the Alien out there because it is in the same dump price range. Neither of them will shoot any better than a number of factory guns, and certainly no better thana quality custom firearm at a lower price.
Rule Number Nine - Always carry a knife, especially underwater.

It’s not all about shooting better or worse however marginally. It’s about kinetic art, not all guns are purely practical or martial in nature. I mean there isn’t a ton a $250 used Glock 23 in .40 won’t do. It’s is durable, accurate, reliable and capable and can be used easily for carry or home defense all while being dirt cheap with easily accessible parts and accessories. Do you want one? Me either.

Really? You say all this with first hand experience?

I'm just wondering, are these any closer to hitting the market?
Is there a U.S. Importer yet?
ai says this:
European Launch: The Venator saw its initial "limited batch" release in late 2025, primarily in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).
US Market Entry: While the pistol has been showcased at major US trade shows, it is currently in the import and distribution setup phase. It is expected to begin appearing at high-end US retailers and boutique importers by Q2 or Q3 of 2026.
The "Vision" Model: The advanced version featuring the digital HUD (ammo counter, temperature, etc.) is slated for a broader international release in late 2026.
FYI, I didn't vet the info.

No US importer yet. It’s just getting underway in Europe. Knowing how these small batch companies go and the importation and ATF delays, I don’t think there’s a chance we see it in the states this year.

Thanks for the information!
The delay is probably a good thing. Gives us a chance to see how the European guns do and gives a little more information on the reliability of the manufacturer. This message has been edited. Last edited by: MRC,
