Ive been on the lookout for a while and finally found a P30L da/sa without safety for a fair price again. I also found our good friends at Top Gun Supply had a good price on the new HK 17-round mags, so I grabbed several. I do believe that the P30L is my favorite handgun I’ve found. I was able to shoot 100 rounds through it the other day and had a great time!

I see you followed the recommended HK magazine loading method. Very professional! Smile

I've got a standard P30 and really think they're the most nicely-built and finished plastic pistols I've found.

Congrats !
I've been intrigued by this P30L.
Being hammer fired, you should be able to get very nice trigger break quality.
I need to study the trigger options more...
LEM, non-LEM....wut ?
Which is best for a range gun ?

Very nice. Keeping my eye on the P30. Safety model would be just fine by me.

Congrats. Awesome gun. Highly recommend the gray guns srt for it. The reset is super long otherwise. Also helps the DA pull as well. Just makes a great gun that much better. Enjoy it.

I have the P30 in .40 with a safety (which I don't like) but the only way I could get it. A VP9 is coming this week. Not a big fan of optics but figure while I prefer a hammer fired gun here is a chance to get a nice H&K with the optic option for the future if I want. Now, looking at the mass selection of optics. I don't want one to cost more than the gun.

Very nice pistol. I love the HK grip module/pieces. I think they have the best grip options available on a pistol today.

We finally got a few in from HKUSA a couple of months ago. Considering that I ordered them almost exactly a year previous, it felt like a major achievement. Took about 8 days to sell them all. Kinda wish I had ordered 5 times as much as I did, not that any of them would have survived the panic buying we went through, and not to say that HK would've shipped all of them at the same time. John W has certainly made that model an "It" gun.

I definitely want to, eventually, play with springs and trigger, but I'm also considering sending it in to have an even more special package done to it than just the couple springs I can do at home.

The previous P30L i owned had already had some trigger work done to it and was phenomenal. alas, it was also an S model and the safety drove me nuts.

Love my P30SK and P30LS.

One of these days they will both go off to get trigger work done. The DA take up is the only thing I am not a fan of.

I don't have an L, kinda want one but don't currently have one.

That said my P30V3 is one of my favorite pieces of tactical Tupperware. I love the thing.

I've added a couple of standard P30 to the stable and I am looking forward to picking up some 17rders.

I just installed the GrayGuns short reset kit on my P30LS. Trigger reset was reduced from 0.045" to 0.027". That's a solid 40% reduction in reset travel which is a vast improvement!

I’ve had one just like that for 10 years or more. The P30 has the best ergos out there in a full sized 9mm. I need to do the SRT on mine as well. I’ll probably do that soon. Its a great pistol. I never understood why they didn’t sell more of them.
