Certainly for SIGs and a high contender in the general category. After that, I think most SIG's are about as sexy as a tool box.

The CZ Shadow Vipers from Waffen Oschatz in Germany are the best looking pistols I have ever seen. Honorable mention for the high end 2011 pistols made by many custom smiths in the USA.

The consensus seems to be that the P230/P232 are as high or higher on the list than the 92... Can't really say I have a counter argument. Only thing sexier than a 230 is two of them! Bill R

Well except for the rail....... No car is as much fun to drive, as any motorcycle is to ride.

The Nambu is the only pistol I've ever considered getting based solely on looks. The 92 is only looks decent with the FS dust cover and, even then, only in dim lighting.

For those that can't quite get the love of the P230/P232... It is called curves.. A good looking handgun just like a woman is not supposed to look like a shoe box. They are both supposed to have curves. My Native American Name: "Runs with Scissors"

Not bad, but if we're talking pistols with rails, give me a Mastershop X-Six for sexy... ...or even better yet, a Phoenix Redback. Dead sexy and about as fine as handguns get.

I'm afraid I would have to say "NO!" I grew up at a time when, if someone said "45" they were referring to a 1911 or 1911A1. In the Army from early "65 to late "68, I had a 45 either issued or I "obtained" one, and it was always a 1911A1. Then, much later, our military changed to the Berettas. My voice was as loud as the other veterans practically accusing the military of some form of treason. Yeah, I know we've had the Beretta a long time, longer than some members have been in this world, but I still don't much care for them. I owned one, last year, a beautiful stainless and I sold it about a week after I got it and never shot it. I also understand a lot of posters really like the Beretta and that's fine with me, but I kinda think that little Glock 42, or maybe the 43 is the one that should take the honor of sexiest unless you all want to concede the GI 1911 or 1911A1 is the one. But that's just my opinion. Bob

OH yes, it is one of the prettiest guns made IMO. Someone mentioned bluing and I have to say, the Beretta Mod. 90 (not 92) has some of the most masterful polishing jobs I've ever seen, straight, crisp, with well defined edges. I want to say the 70's and 80's were the golden era for Berettas where they had true artisans working at their finishing department, nowadays.....not so much.

I watched a documentary about late 80s action movies and it said the Beretta used by Bruce Willis in Die Hard was the same pistol used by Mel Gibson in Lethal Weapon (provided by the same Hollywood armorer). I suppose those two iconic action movies helped promote the Beretta. Yes, the 92, the above poster's original East German p230, and the best of all, the previous poster's Luger. I added the Luger last second, I forgot how gorgeous is is. Update: an early model Walther PPK/s pistol. I used to have one, imported by Interarms I think. That was one sexy little pistol. This message has been edited. Those photos above show why the 92 is the girl you ask out when the hot chicks turn you down.

Just thought of another one while photographing some BP stuff…. The Colt 1862 Pocket Police. It’s a nice looking revolver! Bill R

I don't get "sexy" out of a pistol and I never thought the Beretta 92 was a particularly good looking gun. I did not think much of it as a shooter until I got to fire a Langdon tuned version. I think now if you wanted to sponsor Team Mediocre to shoot a DA/SA it would be a LTT 92 in preference to my GGI P226.

I can't believe the Walther PPK hasn't received more mention? Even sexier than the Sig P230 in my opinion.

I’d have to put it at the bottom for looks. It has a beautiful recoil and is a joy to shoot but I do not like the appearance. My taste would be more like a BHP or any number of Colt or S&W revolvers.
