453030Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens...
These are not at all my favorite things. Revolvers? Much more so ;-)

YooperSigsWhen my Dept transitioned to the 229, we had a chance to buy our 686s for.... 150 bucks!
I passed. Big mistake.
I hope to run across a 581.

Chuck PerryNice collection! I see you are running a pair of the Hogue no-finger groove conversion grips. I have a pair of those coming to try, how do you like them compared to the standards with grooves?

patwI love that upper right revolver. Very nice. I know there are other manufacturers that make a nice revolver, but there is just something about a blued S&W that seems just right. In my opinion, they are nicer than any Colt.

Wow. Mine is a dash 3, I love that 4" 357 and shoot it very well.

Just one, actually. I have VZ micartas on the 686-3.
The one on the Competitor, I dare say I like it more than the one with the grooves. The smooth rubber allows me to get my fingers where I like them a bit easier than the others. I think you will really enjoy them.

That is the only one of all 6 that has a lock. It also has the best double action pull, by far, of all of them. I bought it several years ago, it is just the current production Performance Center 44 Magnum. It is quite enjoyable to shoot, although I must say the balance on the RSR editon (the one right below it from 1994) is simply perfect. Aesthetically, I also prefer it, but I shoot them equally well.

Cobra21Nice pic. I have been leaning toward Ruger revolvers as of late, but these still carry some of that classic styling to me. Very nice collection.
