mrtunaStoners: Where did you buy your polishing stones?
I'm finally to the point that I am doing my own trigger jobs and need some polishing stones. There are some expensive sets at Brownells but I only need a couple grits of flat ones and a couple small diameter round ones for things like the top of the P Series hammer strut.
Thanks

rbert0005Gesswien has everything you could possibly want.
You could try MSC as well. They may have what you are looking for.

Another fan of Gesswien. I learned about them from the old tool and die makers. They have pretty much everything.

NipperDepends on your age and interest in DIY work. Since the time I was in my thirties (1970's), I've always gone top shelf on critical gunsmithing tools. Mostly from Brownell's.
I'm 75 now and have gotten more use out of those tools than I ever imagined.
If I needed something today, I'd probably pay for serviceable, not top shelf.
