I hope I'm not boring you by boasting about such a wonderful concept.

I have had bad hand tremors for years due neurological issues and heavy pain medications and age (75) so for a while I had to give up the only enjoyable outlet I had left. The tremors were so bad I couldn't successfully use my firearms at my local indoor range. Couldn't get decent groups and sometimes wouldn't even hit the paper at 10 yards. Close up wasn't much better so I decided to stop pursuing my hobby because I couldn't find any firearm that I could shoot reasonably well.

Then a friend of mine who is a professional team shooter convinced me to try the Sig P320 X5 with a romeo 1 reflex sight. To my amazement I was able to shoot reasonably well (between the tremors) and was able to post 4 inch groups at 10 yards and close up groups were now in the 1.5 inch range. I don't know how Sig got such an amazing and predictable trigger (4.5#) but this gun is extremely easy to shoot and with very little muzzle rise. Before I would be tired after trying to shoot 50 rounds but now I can go as far as 150 rounds at each outing before getting tired. Am am so glad to be back in the saddle and enjoying every range outing. Thanks again Sig for making a great firearm.

Congrats on finding something that works for you. I love my P320 X5 also, I think it is the best value of any range/competition gun on the market now.

The one thing I did was to trade all my 21 round magazines for the 17 round legion magazines for a nice flush fit.

Thanks for all the great support. I'm still getting used to the red dot. I have to acquire the target within 4 seconds or my hand shakes worse. Do a lot of dry fire exercises to get the red dot on target as quick as possible.

It's a tough challenge. Some good days and some bad days. Making the best of it.
