When I didnt need them, they were plentiful. I picked up a former Dallas PD P226R-DAK, and decided to deDAKify. After that I decided I wanted it to look like a friend's,and long time DPD detective's, former service pistol. His P226R had a Nitron slide but factory nickel accents. I looked for those nickel kits with no joy, but was able to pick up some parts here and there, but alas I have come up empty for the final parts; grip screws, mag release, and slide release . Why did SIG cease production? Its almost tempting to send the factory Nitron parts to AP&W to have them nickel the parts. __________________________ Violence has resolved more conflicts than anything else. I have ended up with a few extra its but it was easier and cheaper to send my parts to CCR and have them plated with the CP11 electro finish. You also end up with everything have the same finish which is hard to do buying factory parts. The finish colors are all over the place. CCR is great to deal with. Does great work and fast at an affordable price.

AP&W is physically less than 15 miles from my house and I would highly recommend them for something like hard chrome of large parts or an entire weapon, but I'd be more inclined to go with CCR for a nickel CPII type finish. __________________________________ NRA Benefactor I lost all my weapons in a boating, umm, accident. http://www.aufamily.com/forums/

Don't know what they have in stock right now, but I have bought SIG parts in nickel from Matrix Precision. NRA Life

I appreciate the recommendations for CCR, in the past I have had a firearm done over by them, but I wont do business with them anymore. The recommendation of Matrix is also appreciated, but, I dont care for the glossy/shiny finish of their parts. I am partial to that dull finish. __________________________ Violence has resolved more conflicts than anything else. francesux, FWIW, The nickel parts I received from Matrix are matte, not a bit of shininess to them. NRA Life

My other Sig is a Steyr. |
I put together a P220 with nickel controls about seven years ago. The parts were hard to come by back then as well.

I noticed the nickel parts on the Matrix website says that Revenant Arms is the manufacturer. Does anyone know if they are MIM or bar stock?

francesux, I just looked at the Matrix site. The current "Revenant" parts do appear shiny. I bought my nickel parts set a few years ago. At that time, Matrix indicated they were factory SIG parts. The parts I bought definitely do not look like the shiny nickel parts now available at Matrix.. Good luck in your quest. NRA Life
