Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished

I recently had my P229 milled by Parker Mountain Machine.

I paid extra for the cover plate. I think they did a great job. I didn't send the optic with the slide but the pocket is tight, there is no play at all with the optic mounted using the provided screws.

I chose Cerakote instead of a DLC for the refinish. I've had other slides (and one aluminum frame) Cerakoted and I think it will hold up fine. I didn't plan for this to come out as a sort of 2-tone but I should have expected it because I chose a color called "Sig Grey." I think it looks good with the gray RMR.

I don't need suppressor height sights because this is just a range/match gun but I might add them later. I think the Sig factory suppressor height sights installed on the P229 slide with the Romeo 1 Pro would be way too tall for the RMR.

I bought this used with few rounds through it. I've only owned one other Sig this new and the out-of-the-box trigger pull is very good, so good that I was surprised by it.

Looks good. I like how they machined those nubs to act as bosses. What was the turnaround like?
