For those of you who still carry a Kahr CM/PM9, magguts.com just came out with new PM/CM9 mag springs to add +1 while using original factory floor plate (so no length added). Model for 6 round OEM mag and a separate model for 7 round OEM mag. Not super cheap at $22.95, but they are quality springs/followers and I have used a couple of their other models without issue for years now.

Yes I also have a p365 Smile but I had the Kahr 1st and it has always served me well for many years and still gets carried quite often.

Two years ago, I would have been all over these. The P365 has pushed my PM9 into retirement, so my PM9 is resting comfortably in my safe. Even with an extra round, the PM9 can't compete with the P365. Magguts has great products, but they're a little late to the party on this release.

Thx XerO, still use my CM9 as a pocket or backup ankle gun and that spring setup will be on order shortly!

Does it reduce or eliminate the tendency of the top round to inch its way forward halfway out of the mag?

I have the 7 round Magguts setup in my CW380 6 round magazine which did the following, which I'm delighted about:

1. Made the (known issue) of weak Kahr springs issue go away
2. Gave me +1, so now I have 8 rounds of .380 on tap
3. Eliminated the issue of rounds moving in the magazine which many people say happens with stock Kahr mags

You can fix this with the Lakeline LLC followers. That was a big problem for me so I got one a few years ago and have never had the issue since.

Got mine in the mail Thursday and after the install shot it this morning in the CM9.
-Increased mag capacity to 7 total.
-the top round in the mag is now firmly set and stays in place.
-It was a 2 handed job, wear safety glasses Smile

Here's some info pics and tips for anyone else putting one in.

Here's how it comes packaged. I got two for two 6-round magainzes:

Follower comparison. Black is OEM.

Magazine spring comparison:

Tips for putting together.

1. Put follower notch on 1st spring bend and hold with thumb

2. While holding follower on spring with thumb, insert into mag and slowly push rest of spring into mag until follower pops out the breech end of the magazine. Once it's in there the spring will stay on the notch.

3. The rest of the wavy spring will be a BITCH to push down into mag as it's squirrelly as hell, and sharp to boot! Get it in and then slide the bottom plate on 1/2 way to keep it in there. It will look all crooked in the magazine, but it will straighten itself out once you load up the magazine later.

4. Slide base plate retainer between base plate and end of wavy spring until it's fully inside magazine, then slide base plate home until it snaps onto retainer plate.

Also, best place to get pm9 mags? CDNN and Gregcote don’t seem to have them.

Direct from Kahr.

There doesn't seem to be any difference in price with them; they are pricey no matter where you get them.

$30-32 + ship at GMW, use code "GARANDTHUMB" for 5% off: https://gunmagwarehouse.com/brands/kahr-arms

Edit to add: They're $26-29 at MVO. Their shipping can be pricey if your order is small, but they're pretty quick about it. https://www.manventureoutpost....s_bymfg_203-1-2.html
