Got a text the other night. A friend of mine offered up his Lipsey’s Edition reverse two tone P220R Elite chambered in 10mm. Got some extras with it as well. 5 Mags total and a couple of holsters. LNIB
I’ve wanted one of these for a long time, ever since Bruce Gray was doing his P220 conversions. I even wound up with a couple of P220ST pistols in preparation. But other stuff always got in the way. I had sort of given up. Most of the P220-10mm I see now are SAO and I just didn’t want that....
$1k ..... how’d I do? (Really doesn’t matter, I wanted it) (Yes, I’ll get pics up n a bit)

Cool! You got one at a better price than I did, but I did get one of the first 50 that were released early.

Great Price I paid $1299 last summer . Sent the slide to sig and had the nitron finish removed and also had X-ray sights installed. Carries great in the woods with an alaskan Diamond d chest holster.

I have seriously considered having the slide bead blasted, or whatever, to remove the Nitron. I like all stainless guns. But I also don’t want to hurt it’s collectibility....

I have one of the bronze Lipsey's DA/SA guns. I absolutely love it. My only complaint is the short radius of the trigger, it hurts my finger under recoil.
Mine is boxed up and getting sent in tomorrow to the SIG Armorer, Mr. Burke down in TX. Getting a trigger replacement and an action job.
Nice. I ended up getting a SAO model and lucked up finding a Stainless elite frame. I sold off the SAO frame and just sent my slide to CCR to get it refinished in CPII.

Why did you hide the serial number on the box? It is visible on the pistol. I'm sure you will like shooting it. My SAO shoots so well that I dumped all my 1911 10 mm pistols.

Honestly, I was playing with the “magic marker” in the photo app. I noticed it works like a real marker in that it took several swipes to actually hide the number. Then I just left it that way out of laziness. I normally don’t worry about the whole s/n thing.
I have a Rock Island 1911 in 10mm. It’s the only 1911 I have left. It may very well get traded off now that I have a P220 in 10mm.

Nice... This is the exact gun I originally wanted, but when I was shopping around nobody seemed to have them. So I settled for an Emperor Scorpion 10mm... No regrets...
