Pretty sure most every one is still in preorder phase.

Rey HRHI received the email from Sig. It’s good news for people in CA. I’m not shitting on anyone in CA since I moved from there but those 10 round mags just rub me the wrong way.
"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

Yeah. Where in the description on Sig's website does it mention that "feature"? I don't see it.

Doubt they’ll highlight that “feature” but it is easy enough (and not illegal) to remove the CLI and the MDM and have a “normal” M18.

PatenThe thing is, how would a magazine disconnect work in a P320? I can't think of a way they could add it to an FCU. I guess I'd have to see it to understand how.
Does having a manual safety maybe give an exemption to the magazine disconnect requirement?
What's a CLI? If you mean LCI, a "normal" M18 comes with a LCI.

2A Zone released a breakdown video. They’re one of the vendors who had made an on roster 320 variant prior to M18 being added. In the video it looks like you can remove one screw and remove the MDM.
https://www.instagram.com/p/CwnvlrHKU88/Safety does not allow them to forgo MDM.
And no stupid CA calls for a CLI, which was one thing people were wondering what SIG was going to do because the standard M18 LCI did not quality as a CLI… Someone posted about the CLI saying you just remove the optic plate and it comes out, but I haven’t seen a video of that. This quote is from a CA gun forum:
quote:
CA requires a Chamber Load Indicator (CLI) [PC 16380], not a Loaded Chamber Indicator (LCI).
All CLI are LCI, but not all LCI are CLI.
Penal Code 16380
As used in this part, "chamber load indicator" means a device that plainly indicates that a cartridge is in the firing chamber. A device satisfies this definition if it is readily visible, has incorporated or adjacent explanatory text or graphics, or both, and is designed and intended to indicate to a reasonably foreseeable adult user of the pistol, without requiring the user to refer to a user's manual or any other resource other than the pistol itself, whether a cartridge is in the firing chamber.
ETA after further reading, apparently th e only thing that makes it a CLI is the verbiage on the optic plate, the actual LCI is the same as standard M18.

Okay. I guess they could add it to the FCU. I just am not technical enough to visualize it without pictures. As far as the LCI, the one they showed in the video is the same one on a regular M17/M18. No difference mechanically except writing on the sight plate that says "Loaded When Up".

SigSauerP226Ya I just read the LCI qualifies as a CLI once the wording is there, genius CA

Once the plate is removed, the wording is gone sooo
Also, that instagram video by 2A shows how the MDM is connected to the FCU.

sjtillJust did the DROS on my CA P320 M18.
I was surprised I liked the trigger.
Now in 10-day jail.
Rumors per LGS:
1. P365 will appear on DOJ roster
2. Roster may well disappear if current lawsuit successful
3. LGS predicts mad rush to buy if goes on roster as gun buyers will not trust the state to let roster go by the boards
Also: ATF is playing games with FFL’s to try to trick them into entering bad info.

Sure but that's not Sig's website. However under the questions section on the product web page for the CA compliant pistol, the question is asked and answered.

According to the clerk at the LGS who is responsible for all the DROS applications etc.
She had a customer who had been under restraining order, it was removed, and he was allowed to get his guns back. Per the clerk, on the drop-down menu in which she enters the manufacturer’s name on the form, Winchester was spelled “w-i-c-h-e-s-t-e-r”; but only on that day. She could not correct it on the form. Somehow she got it changed, otherwise her customer would have had to go through the process again.
She has told other stories, that one stood out.
It is known the ATF is looking, at least in CA, for any minor error in entry to pull a dealer’s FFL.

sjtillThe CA DOJ apparently decided not to appeal that decision. We are still waiting on a decision that might make the entire roster disappear (I think I mentioned that above).
That would instantly decrease by 1/3 to 1/2 the value of every off-roster handgun owned by current California residents. That would include mine, of course, but I’m happy to see it go for the good of the people of California.

sjtillI'm going to bust my 320 out of 10-day-wait jail today.
Will take it home, lube it, and dry fire the heck out of it.
I can add it to my CCW by qualifying at the range where I did my CCW quals.
Any other Califoreigners have theirs yet?
