So ever since the micro stamping requirement on our states, roster of safe handguns… We have not had a new, semi auto pistol added in over 10 years. With a recent court ruling, the micro, stamping requirement is no longer here. As a result, we have a new Sig P320 coming to us. There is now a M18 on the CA roster! They are a 10 rd gun with a mag disconnect I assume.

It’s a small victory for us but it feels incredible! Saving my duckets now!

Sho' nuff!
This is huge! Now keeping fingers crossed that the 365 will appear as well.
If anyone has heard anything about that please post here.

People here have been selling off-roster 320’s for outrageous amounts.
Having a CA-legal 320 means you can build a race gun with the FCU and a heavy grip frame, etc.
Personally I’m really jonesin’ for a 365.

Are the prices going to be the same as the rest of the country for the M18? If so, it's going to kill sales of that Franklin Armory CA320 that just came out a couple of months ago.

The price will be between 750-800 from what I’m seeing.

Yeah, I waited such a long time....just put down a deposit at the LGS in Poway where I'm a member. Probably will see them late August or September.
Hundreds are on the wait list at Turner's.

In the end CA civilians will probably have more M-18's than the Marine Corps. Big Grin

I got my Compact just before they did away with the Single Shot Exemption.

Added Bruce's sear and Randy's trigger bar. Now wearing a Holosun instead of the SIG RD

Has anyone here in CA heard about M-18 deliveries to California?

None yet...but Turners claims they are getting them in August. I have my deposit in on mine, but haven't heard anything as yet.

I’m very excited new stuff is being added to the roster since the stupid micro stamping no longer applies, even though it still needs mag disconnect and chamber loaded indicator. I bought a Franklin Armory CA320 so I won’t be adding the M18, but it’s great news. I’m hoping the other roster ‘suit just throws the whole stupid roster out eventually.

Sadly that's doubtful..I think the best we can hope for is for the roster to go back to what it was in the beginning - so no mag disconnect, chamber loaded indicator, and no micro stamping. The lawsuit didn't do anything for the manual safety portion from what I've seen.

But hope springs eternal...even here in CA...

Ya if it was just a battery of safety tests, which if I remember right that was the idea of the safe handgun roster or whatever, that’d be fine. It should also apply to any variant of the same gun. Not this stupid “it has a different color sooo you need to apply for that specific model to be added to the roster…” So many dumb shit angles they took to limit the roster and make more money. Gah sorry for thread drift.

SIG has it on their website now. I don't see how it's different from the Massachusetts compliant version but it has a different SKU.

P320-M18 CALIFORNIA
