I've never been a big fan of polymer guns, but this one really appealed to me. I was also influenced by the US military adoption of the M17 and M18. I got an e-mail yesterday from Palmetto State Armory advertising the M18 for $749.99 + $16 shipping and they actually had it in stock, so I bought it. I couldn't find it in stock at a better price and I don't qualify for LE pricing. I'm interested in any opinions or advice about this model. My current SIG favorites are the MK-25, X-5 Lightweight, and P938 SAS, all of which I shoot a lot. I'm expecting the M18 to fill another niche in my 9 mm lineup.

Congrats on ur purchase Bought my dad an M18 and put a Leupold DPP last year for Christmas so naturally I had to go with him to make sure it didn’t blow up on him I’m there with you about polymer pistols not really being my thing, but It was pleasant to shoot and out of the box fed any crap Ammo we threw at it. I think you’ll be happy with your purchase.

Just spent almost a year deployment with an issued M17. They are really good guns, I’m sure you’ll like it! Very nice trigger. “People have to really suffer before they can risk doing what they love.” –Chuck Palahnuik Be harder to kill: https://preparefit.ck.page

Congrats -- I think you'll like it. That pistol is very similar to my standard P320 Carry, which I find to be a very easy pistol to shoot well. Pictured here with a CT laser sight:

Congratulations on your new weapon. I also do not care for polymer weapons either but I really like my M18. I bought the Wilson Combat grip module, and i can say it feels just as good as My Sig p229s
