After many Christmas and birthday gifts consisting of various LEGO® sets for my two grandsons (now 5 and 10), I realized I liked playing with them too. So I devised my own ‘set’ aimed at a 71 year old that has enjoyed firearms for 60+ years. It is based on a July 22, 2017 purchase of a 320CA-9-TACOPS-TB, on sale at a LGS in PHX.
Over the following 18 months various 320 based items went on sale online that were added to my ‘set’. So, just in time for Christmas 2018, I have a pretty good starter GUNGO Set for under my tree:

Just as with the kiddo’s LEGO® sets, ‘blocks’ can always be added in the future. In the meantime there are lots of combinations that can be assembled for great ‘play’ value at local ranges. Here are just two:

Using lots of ‘blocks’

Basic Compact EDC

Oh, this year the boys are getting a whopper of a LEGO® set; Ewok Village. This is from BOTH sets of grandparents.

Note: The grandkids have no idea that their AZ grandfather has this ‘set’. They live in NM.

Disclaimer: LEGO® is a registered trademark and this post has NOTHING to do with the real LEGO® company or any of their products except for the $$$$$$$ spent on their GREAT products over nearly a decade for very good grandsons. Amen

Just to make sure you have the FULL set...

On the other hand, I can see this becoming a never-ending (if thoroughly enjoyable) quest.

LOL Il Cattivo, that is cool but I paid less ($479) for the whole Caliber X-Change/RX Compact kit from SIG. Originally I was going to have the TACOPS slide FDE Cerakoted locally for $55. I still may but now I'm thinking the RX slide might be even better in FDE.

Big Grin Yeah, cheap it is not. I just got a kick out of all that modularity actually making it onto the market for once! Truth to tell, cerakote might actually give you a better match.
