That reminds of a custom 1911 I'd seen in one of the gun rags several years ago. Among other features, it had plate extensions on the rear of the slide, the idea being that it would prevent anything from interfering with the hammer. Go figure...*shrug*

Seriously, I have some of each. I prefer solid on short triggers and skeletal on mediums. Esthetic reasons only.


I believe I saw Jet Li do that in a movie once.
