ROMEO-X ENCLOSED COMPACT on a 226 Legion ? Login/Join

Had the ROMEO-X ENCLOSED COMPACT on a Fuse that I sold. Could I mount it on a 226 Legion I just picked up. I know the Pro is a direct mount.
The Compact is a RX Footprint (Shield RMS-c)
Is there an Optics Adapter Plate that could make this work.
Thanks for any info.

If it were me, I'd sell the Compact and buy the one that fits correctly. No need to use a plate.

Last night I mounted a Romeo X Pro on a P226 with Pro Cut Slide and it fit perfectly. The compact might be small.

C&H Precision is the best place for adapter plates:

Wait, no one suggested the standard Sigforum answer:
Buy a gun to fit the compact optic, and then buy a pro optic to fit the P226.
