I have 2 P5s, one says “Made in Germany” and has the triple s#; the other with wooden grips, date code KI, says “Alexandria/VA”. It is also triple s#ed with all the fancy German markings. It is obvious that the hogue griped P5 was made in Germany, but what about the wood griped P5? Any thoughts? Thanks I do love them both! They shoot terrific! https://i.imgur.com/N5x5Bh7.jpg https://i.imgur.com/rp9Aefe.jpg

It is an import marking. For many years Walther firearms were imported into the US by Interarms of Alexandria, Virginia.
