Ive always had a light on my 870 as it sits in my room mostly...and always just had my lcp II for carry. But I recently bought a Sig p320 xcompact. I guess for a mix of home defense and some carry. Not sure yet how I will be utilizing except for really enjoy shooting it at the range. I threw a TLR7a on it because why not - I wanted to put an accessory on and its so small. Figure I could carry with it and useful as a nightstand kinda thing. However I find I dont like how Im gripping the pistol with it all that much. Yeah its doable but I really like getting a finger around the trigger guard. If I dont have a finger over the guard it just feels off for me. I was wondering if I will get used to it, or maybe if you guys have some tips on gripping a WML on a pistol correctly?

Do you use your support hand thumb to activate the light? ---------------------------- Chuck Norris put the laughter in "manslaughter" Educating the youth of America, one declension at a time.

You're not going to "get it" automatically. It beats the hell out of a handheld light. Practice with it, or better yet, find a low light class.
