So I traded a Sig 365 .380 and $700 for this beauty
Fusion longslide 9mm Big Grin. I went right to the range, oiled her up and put 100 rds through it to get used to the trigger. Recoil was nill, but the first round did not eject the spent brass. There were about 7 more failures of the brass to fully extract. I noticed there was a lighter spring that came from the factory in the bag so I installed it and had 100% function after that. That heavy slide along with the heavy spring were retarding the slide and causing the issues.

The target is 100 rds at 7-10 yds.

I haven't heard of that brand, not that it means anything. How is the quality of the gun? I thought it was a Dan Wesson at first. I love the look of the long slides.

That was a very good deal. However there is one small problem. I only counted 32 hits on that target. This means that you have way too many bullets going thru the same holes. What you need to do is spread your shots around a bit so that you get 100 nice fresh hits. I know it won't be easy with a pistol that accurate but maybe closing your eyes would help Wink


I've stopped counting.

The alignment of the extractor to the rear of the slide, to the rear of the frame rails is very good. What kind of feed ramp? Do they go traditional or do they use a ramped barrel?

That is a slick 1911, love the long slide.

I almost went with them when picking a 1911 recently. Opted for the tisas commander stainless. But yes that is sweet. You always come up with interesting firearms at JAX.

Very nice Doc. Fusion made 1911s in Binghamton, NY for a bit before heading to FL. Congrats on that longslide!
