S&W recently posted a question on their Facebook page "So should we bring back the 3rd gens or what?". This is referring to the older 5906, 4506, etc. handguns. Not sure if they were just having fun or unofficially gauging interest in bringing back these guns. Anybody else hear anything?

Yeah, I saw that. Since you ask, my impression is that it's chickenshit. These social media accounts for companies like S&W are run by twenty-somethings. That post isn't market research; it's toying with faithful customers.
