One of the advantages of the B&T GHM9C is it's easy acceptance of custom parts for OEM components. When I first bought this (as a pistol), I knew I wanted to get a stamp and go SBR, but there were aspects of the system that I wasn't entirely pleased with. I thought the original magazines from B&T were somewhat brittle and was pleased to see that the company offered a lower which utilized Glock magazines. The serialized part of this firearm is the UPPER, not the lower "receiver" and for about $400.00, I could use Glock magazines. I also went with an AR type folding stock after my stamp arrived from BATFE, which I thought provided a much better cheek weld than the folding "wire" type stock offered by B&T. Recently, I upgraded the trigger with one offered by Timney and the result is a huge improvement. I did have a few light hammer strikes after my local gunsmith did the install, but fortunately the Timney Trigger Company is located nearby and they took good care of me. It turned out that I'd ordered the wrong "AR9" trigger and they not only fit and replaced it with the correct one, but test fired it too. I've put a couple hundred rounds through the firearm since then and it's works beautifully. A very short, clean take up, with a crisp break. Perfect!!! While I'm using a "blast deflector" for the time being, once my Dead Air "Wolfman" suppressor gets out of "jail" (stamp arrives), this will be it's home. This is not helping!!!! The thread with the Sig lowered model for $999 is really tempting. Does the pistol have a way to mount a 1913 stock to it or is it proprietary? I’d like one of these for it after getting a stamp of course https://max-11.com/364.php ———————————————— The world's not perfect, but it's not that bad. If we got each other, and that's all we have. I can't actually answer that question from personal experience as I'm an APC addict. On the APC the answer is yes. But many parts go between the two (like the lower) but some don't. If pulicords shows the rear section unassembled I can tell you if that APC part crosses over. Or you can ask B&T. “So in war, the way is to avoid what is strong, and strike at what is weak.”

Didn't know that B&Ts could use AR triggers. Hmm...the factory triggers on my recently purchased APC9s could definitely use a serious upgrade. I just KNEW it; getting into another platform was just going to be another "money pit". -MG

More "bad news" for you (as if you're not spending enough already)! Copper Custom offers a 1913 rail conversion kit for the GHM9 for $89.00. I believe the set up I used for my SBR conversion was from them too. Like the AR platform, the GHM system is kind of like Legos for adults. Very easy to change/upgrade to your needs/wants! https://coppercustom.com/acces...b-t-ghm-1913-adapter "I'm not fluent in the language of violence, but I know enough to get around in places where it's spoken."

Haha, tell me about it. I’ve already ordered a B&T aluminum lower for mine as well as gotten on the email list of the Lingle lowers that accept Scorpion mags. Success always occurs in private, and failure in full view. Complacency sucks…
